A request for help...

...from our Alumni community

Dear LSS Alumni

I wondered if I could share a request for help with you?

The school field continues to be a vital resource for LSS. However, as we continue to grow, with five forms of entry leading to a steady increase in pupil numbers each year, space in which to play is at a premium. We particularly notice this during the winter when wet weather makes it impossible to use the field for long weeks on end. In light of this, we are very keen to see if we can build at least one all-weather five a side pitch on the school site so that boys are still able to play their beloved football even when the field is too muddy for use.

We have done some initial investigations and it is clear that the plan has potential, but in order to move to the next stage we wondered if there were some in our Alumni community with expertise in the building and design of all-weather pitches? If so, it would be extremely helpful to pick your brains and discuss potential options. If you fall into this category (or know someone who does) then please get in contact with us.

Best Wishes
